ALWAYS IN MOTION. More than just a motto, the core values of Junkie Kartel were born out of necessity. From the East Side of South Central Los Angeles, the birthplace of some of the most authentic pioneers of streetwear culture, the climb up has never been easy. We don’t imitate here, we don’t pretend here, we proudly represent the struggle of our legendary neighborhoods while striving to become the best versions of ourselves.

When we looked at the “urban” corporate street brands pushed to us at billion dollar department stores we just didn’t feel an authentic soul. We didn’t see anything that truly had their eyes on our culture or their ears on our streets… so we made our own clothes. Carefully crafted with input from the people of the “low bottoms”, we know that clothing isn’t merely functional but it’s a STATEMENT. It’s an opportunity to display what it is that you stand for and what it is that you believe in. That is our mission! To be the voice of the authentic, to be the hope of the hopeless, to represent the pride of the misunderstood that are sometimes forgotten. We don’t forget, we don’t stop, we stay in motion.
